Rehearsal Scene

"The readiness is all

The Actor's Circle was inspired by the need for actors to have a cost effective way to stay at the top of their game in between engagements.

Musicians can play all day; dancers can do class; but what about actors? How do you keep that acting muscle in shape once the audition pieces are done? The Actors Circle provides somewhere actors can find their tribe—trained and talented—somewhere to keep their skills fit, working on voice & body, text, scene study, improv, acting techniques, acting for camera.

There's always been an element of luck—the big break syndrome, but what if you started making your own luck? Find people to collaborate with. Get proactive. Organise a showcase, get a profit share production together—get out there—get seen.

My name's Mark Holme, I'm the founder and facilitator of The Actors Circle. After training, and working as a musician for fifteen years, I worked as an actor musician for the next fifteen, performing in fringe, mid-scale, and No. 1  tours. Along the way, I did a BA Hons in Filmmaking and an MA in Scriptwriting.

I'll keep things moving forward in the sessions, but participants can suggest what they'd like to work on, maybe you have things they'd like to share.

Get in touch and say hello. Let me know what location is good for you and what your day/time preference is. We'll be starting in Liverpool and Manchester soon.
